James Gillray, British, 1756 to 1815, a satirical etching depicting two ladies in the opera house titled Characters in High Life, published by Hannah Humphrey, London, 1795. And a hand coloured lithograph portrait of Edmund Kean as Othello published by John William Gear, circa the early 19th century. Edmund Kean was a celebrated British Shakespearean stage actor born in England, who performed, among other places, in London, Belfast, New York, Quebec, and Paris. All framed.
