A pair of antique etchings on paper by Robert Dighton, 1752 to 1814, an English portrait painter and printmaker. First. A portrait of a woman with musical notes, titled Mrs Wrighten. Second. A male portrait, titled Mr Parsons. Both prints are titled underneath, Signed R. Dighton Pinx. in the lower left, R. Laurie Sculpt. in the lower right. Inscription Published as the act directs July 10th, 1779 by W. Richardson no. 68 High Holborn is on the bottom of both artworks. Mary Ann Wrighten Pownall, 1751 to 1796, was an English singer, actress and composer. William Parsons, 1736 to 1795, was a British actor and painter.
