William Wells Quatremain, English, 1857 to 1930, an uncolored engraving print titled Sketches at Stratford on Avon. Published by Boys Own Paper Office in London, 1893. Matted and framed. William Wells Quatremain was an artist who painted many oil and watercolor landscapes of Britain, many of which were also published as postcards. Quatremain produced a number of scenes from Warwickshire like The Ford, Kenilworth and Warwick Castle from the Avon and specifically from Stratford upon Avon, including Shakespeares Birthplace and Ann Hathaway's Cottage.
