A large Russian silver kovsh. Kovsh is a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle. The item has a rounded body with a hooked handle and a pronounced front with crowned eagle finial. The item is decorated with semiprecious stones. The inner side of the piece is gilt.
