A Russian gilt silver handled holder or podstakannik with crystal tea glass and matching tea spoon. The holder and the spoon are richly decorated with cloisonne enamel ornaments. The glass is decorated with cut and carved floral design. Hallmarks of 84 silver standard and makers mark are on the bottom of the holder and on the backside of the spoon. Total Weight of holder and teaspoon: 209 grams. Podstakannik is a Russian handled holder for a drinking glass, or stakan, usually used for hot tea. Collectible Russian Silverware And Tableware.
