An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain brush pot. The cylindrical form brush pot is hand painted in soft tone of cobalt blue with a continuous scene depicting courtiers and a warrior accompanied by an attendant holding a fan and other officials paying homage to the courtiers. All are set on a pavilion terrace amidst rock formations and plantain trees. Marked with four blue ink Hieroglyph characters, on the bottom. Circa: late 18th century to early 19th century.
