A pair of etchings on paper by Joszef or Joe A. Pecsenke, 1942 to 1989, a Hungarian-American actor and artist. Both artworks belong to the artists Commedia dell Arte series which consists of twenty-two prints and depicts actors and harlequins in architectural decorations. First: titled The Duel on the bottom, numbered 54 out of 150, no. VIII-B in the lower left. Second: untitled, numbered 54 out of 150, no. XIII-A in the lower left. Each print is signed by the artist in the lower right. Commedia dell arte is a form of theatre characterized by masked types which originated in Italy in the 16th century. White mat, golden frames.
