An ancient Western Roman Empire Honorius gold solidus coin. The obverse features the bust of Honorius right, helmeted, shield over left shoulder and spear in right hand over shoulder. The reverse shows Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, holding scepter with right hand and Victory on globe with left hand, left foot on prow; in left field, star. Made in Constantinople, circa from 395 to 420. Weight: 4.32 g. Ancient Byzantine Gold Coins And Numismatic Collectibles.
