A rare original mixed media on paper painting depicting an abstract composition by Yizchak Izzika Gaon, Israeli, 1938 to 1997. Signed by the artist to the lower right. One of a kind artwork. Provenance: Estate of Mr. Silverstein NYC, 2022. Note: Yizchak Izika Gaon, born 1938, Yuguslavia. Studied at Florence Academy of Art 1963 to 1965. He created glass and sculpture objects together with Primo Guarneri at the Vatro Glassworks in Murano, Venice, Italy. He designed the Modern Design Pavilion at the Israel Museum,1973-83. Curator of the Design Department at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem 1983-88, served as chief curator of the arts at the Israel Museum.
