A tall flour size carved wood sculpture depicting an abstract human figure by Aharone Bezalel, Israeli, 1926 to 2012. Signed to the base and dated 1965, also inscribed in Hebrew. Note: Sculptor, Aharone Bezalel was born in 1926 in Afghanistan. In 1991 Bezalel produced a series of totem-like sculptures. The artist lives in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem. Aharone Bezalel received his education in Bezalel, Jerusalem with Zeev Ben Zvi. Bezalel has taught for twenty years at Hadassah Seligsberg High School.
