A WWI German Mauser M1909 bayonet for Gewehr 98 pattern bolt action battle rifles designed for the Argentine Army. They were produced both in Germany and in Argentina. The bayonet features a single edged and fullered to both sides blade numbered and marked for Weyersberg Kirschbaum and Co. Solingen to the ricasso, a hooked blade breaker quillon, original grooved wooden grips secured to the tang by two screws, a pommel with a push button mechanism.
