A WWII Nazi German Army officer sword featuring a long blade with a high quality nickel plated finish. Marked with Alcoso Solingen to the ricasso. This sword has a cast gilt steel hilt with a rounded pommel. The obverse langet features a Wehrmacht eagle, with good detailing throughout the bird. The ferrule has oak leaves and swirl designs.The grip is carved wood covered in nice black celluloid, tightly wrapped with a skein of gilt wires.
