A vintage Russian Soviet era naval dirk dagger, an element of the dress uniform of naval officers in the Soviet Union. The edged steel blade marked ZiK and numbered at the ricasso. The crossguard has a S shape construction. The light celluloid grip is set with gilt brass fittings showing the Soviet coat of arms. The scabbard is leather covered and complete with upper, center, and lower gilt fittings with two suspension rings. The upper fitting depicts an anchor to one side and a sailing boat to the other.
