A large antique Chinese Han Dynasty terracotta figure of a warrior, Ca. 200-100 BC. The warrior is depicted standing upright and looking straight ahead. His face is well defined holding a serene expression. Features rounded black painted eyes, red painted narrow and straight mouth, thin pointed mustaches and beard and long black eyebrows. He wears well detailed body armor over their thigh-length red color tunics and shortened trousers. The hands are clenched and have a central hole, which would have formerly held weapons, such as spears or swords. This is a well preserved example of a ceramic standing warrior figurine, made to be placed into a tomb.
