An antique late 19th century Austrian porcelain cabinet plate decorated with transfer image with hand painted retouches depicting Napoleon reprimanding a grenadier of the Imperial Guard, who according to legend eagerly shouted for attack during the Battle of Jena-Auerstedt, after the painting by Horace Vernet, 1789 to 1868.
