A pair of 1960s American color posters, lithographical ads for New York Worlds Fair of 1964. The first print designed by Bob Peak represents the Unisphere, a stainless-steel model of the Earth, the symbol of the Fair. The second depicts a cartoon by Whitney Darrow Jr., a boy with a balloon. Both posters have technical inscription on the bottom. The 1964-1965 New York Worlds Fair themed Peace Through Understanding was held in Queens and became one of the symbols of the Space Age. Robert M. Peak, 1927 to 1992, was an American commercial illustrator. Whitney Darrow Jr., 1909 to 1999, was a prominent American cartoonist.
