A rare Polish special version combat saber model 34, so called Ludwikowka with no scabbard. The saber was designed as a cavalry saber and was the last Polish combat saber. The blade is made of high quality, non hardened steel, semi matte. The blade is adorned with etched foliage ornaments, an image of an eagle in a crown, and the inscription in Polish, Naczelnemu Wodzowi, To The Chief in Charter. A handle with a grip made of wood cladding with corrugations. The linings are fixed with two steel bolts with brass nuts and a brass reinforcement ring at the base.
