An ancient jasper carved intaglio cylinder seal featuring a scene with three figures, one is sitting on a chair, with a row of animals to the lower part. Probably the 1st millennium BC. Not certificated. Cylinder seals were carved in reverse in order to leave raised impressions when rolled into clay. Seals were generally used to mark ownership, and they could act as official identifiers, like a signature, for individuals and institutions.
