Zdzislaw Beksinski, 1929 to 2005, genuine limited edition lithographic print depicting a mountain landscape, a poster for Bosz Art. Hand signed lower right. Numbered 148 of 200 lower left. Framed. Completed with an original Certificate of Authenticity by Morpheus Fine Art Gallery, signed by James R. Cowan and dated July 11, 2015. Zdzislaw Beksinski is a Polish artist. In 1947 to 1952 studied at the Architecture Faculty of Cracows Technology Institute. Emerged as an autodidact artist to gain a primary position among Polish post war artists. In his early years experimented with photography to shift his interest toward abstract paintings mostly made of metal elements, 1958 to 1962. In the next years Beksinski focused on ink drawing creating distorted and caricatural figures on paper. After 1974 Beksinski concentrated on painting only. His style based on technical mastery circling around apocaliptic as well as sci-fi themes. The Beksinskis canvas are full of horror creatures, half man half-beasts, ghosts as well as vamp femme fatales. Beksinski signed his works with symbols and not regular titles only to undeline his lack of interest in verbal side of art. Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
