A fine antique American Rococo sterling silver vase of a very elegant trumpet design featuring a flared top decorated with openwork elements and repousse floral motifs and same style base. Hallmarked on underside with a Redlich makers mark, Sterling, and numbered 2046. Note: Redlich and Co., New York, 1895 - 1946. Successors to Ludwig, Redlich and Co. Manufacturers of sterling novelties, holloware and some goldwork, high quality in the early years. Absorbed by Elgin in 1946.
