A high quality antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel plate. Circa: early 20th century. The interior of the plate is enameled with a polychrome medallion with images of fans to the center surrounded by medallions in a shape of a fan with polychrome images of blossoming flowers and plants made in the Cloisonne technique. The backside is decorated with a floral pattern made in the Cloisonne technique. The border features a wavy motif. Unmarked.
