A late Miji period Japanese ceramic vase covered with a green glaze, decorated with intricate patterns in moriage technique and hand painted polychrome medallions depicting an Asian man. The vase is unmarked. Moriage technique is using a clay product called slip, which is applied on top of the pottery and then fired.
