A Russian 88 gilt Silver letter and page opener knife. The blade of the knife is made of hand carved Nephrite Jade. The ricasso is adorned with an overlay scrollwork pattern. The handle of the knife is covered with a white Guilloche enamel and adorned with an overlay image of an angel, encrusted with Ruby stones and Diamonds. A figural Russian Imperial double headed eagle, engraved with detailed patterns, encrusted with Diamonds and adorned with a monogram of Alexander III Alexandrovich, 1845 to 1894, Emperor of All Russia, is on the top.
