An Imperial Russian Orthodox icon depicting Jesus Christ in the Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board, gilt edges. The icon is enclosed in a silver riza or oklad, a protecting case with repousse work, as well as a wooden kiot framing case.
