The shade of the lamp is made of translucent porcelain panels depicting Victorian interior family scenes, made using a lost art from the 1800s. When lit from behind, the light shining through the different thicknesses of the carving causes a highly detailed image to appear in front. marked with a green ink stamp. Circa: 1960s to 1970s.
