An antique French Art Nouveau porcelain bowl made by the Tressemann and Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907. Features a beautifully detailed hand painted chrysanthemum motif along the interior. Rests atop three gilded scrolled feet. Marked in green, initials with LIMOGES FRANCE. Note: Gustave Vogt, 1849 to 1937, had taken over the Limoges branch by 1870 and became partners with Emilien Tressemanes in the early 1880s. In 1891 they purchased two small porcelain factories, in the suburb of Montjovis, Limoges. As Tressemanes and Vogt, they made high quality whiteware for export to the USA distributed through their New York office. Tressemann retired in 1907 and Gustave Vogt became the sole owner and changed the name to Porcelaine Gustave Vogt. Art Nouveau Decorative Collectibles, European Porcelain Tableware And Serveware.
