An antique French Sevres porcelain lidded vase raised on a round base. Richly decorated with gilt floral reliefs, including outer rims. The body features hand painted court scene pictures depicting galant couples and horse carriages. Signed by Jean Louis Morin, 1732 to 1787, a French porcelain painter who worked at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory from 1754 to 1787. He was a specialist in figure painting known for his deceptions of military and marine scenes. The lid is surmounted by a pointed nut shaped handle. Marked with the Sevres blue mark underneath.
