An antique Russian silver card holder, a hinged cover is decorated with an embossed image of the Russian Imperial coat of arms featuring a double headed eagle displayed, twice imperially crowned, grasping in the dexter claw an imperial scepter, and in the sinister claw an imperial orb. Gold wash inside. With a push-button lock. Both parts are hallmarked with a 84 silver standard mark next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and K. Faberge workshops mark.
