Antique Russian 84 Gilt Silver, Crystal glass, and enamel inkwell with a stand. The ware is enameled with polychrome floral, foliage, and scrollwork patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The inkwell is made in a ribbed cut glass design. Marked with a standard Silver hallmark and the makers mark GK for Gustav Klingert. Klingert Gustav Gustavovich, 1836-1921, was a Moscow merchant, manufacturer, homeowner, founded a silverware factory in 1865. The factory produced silverware and carried out special orders, including the production of coronation dishes; its products were awarded medals at international exhibitions in London and Edinburgh, 1886, Paris, 1889, 1890, Chicago, 1893, Antwerp, 1894. Since 1905, when jewelry production was also organized, the Klingert factory became known as the Gold and Silver Jewelry Factory. Total weight: 198 g.
