A pair of Neoclassical porcelain tazzas or footed serving plates by Royal Vienna, an Austrian porcelain manufacturer. The black rim with gilt ornaments encompasses the central part with a hand-painted picture. The first plate depicts a young woman sitting on a garden bench, titled Verlassen, Left, on the backside. The second represents a mythological scene, titled Rinaldo and Armida on the backside. Signed by the artist in the lower right of both pictures, Barschneider.
