A very rare and fine continental faience painted earthenware charger, likely from Creil-Montereau. The charger depicts a lovely female in Spanish attire. The background around the portrait is done with a layer of small glass balls that give an effect between mosaic and tapestry. Signed: Pages, on the lower right.
