A 20th century Pakistani Kuchi Tribal belly dance belt. The belt is made of a velvet fabric, adorned with embroidered and beaded floral and geometrical patterns, hanging coins. Several coins are dated 1984. Colorful clothing and jewelry were worn by the Kuchi people as ceremonial dress for weddings or other celebrations and belt sections like these were included as wedding attire for the bride.
