Albert Moritz Wolff, Russian, German, 1854 to 1923, patinated bronze sculpture, Farewell Kiss, depicting a scene of a seated Cossack figure on horseback kissing a Cossack woman. Mounted on a relief oval shaped base. Signed on the base. Numbered on the bottom. Albert Moritz Wolff is known for Memorial sculpture, medallist. Albert Moritz Wolff, born in Berlin, studied at the Academy of Arts in the city. In 1881 he debuted at an exhibition in the academy with a bust of the preacher Nessler. Monument sculptures and medals, but most of all genre sculptures, produced by small foundries, such as Gladenbeck Berlin and WMF Geislingen, are present in his Oeuvre.
