A fine Japanese flower vase, cast of metal with an ovoid body tapering to the bottom and resting on an expanding pedestal and having a short everted neck. The surface is adorned with exquisite polychrome cloisonne enamel patterns depicting traditional decorative motifs, flowers and the image of a dragon, whose long body wraps around a vase. Unmarked.
