An antique Japanese Meiji Era lidded and footed enamel gilt metal jewelry box. Circa: late 19th century. The box is enameled with polychrome floral and foliage patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The lid is enameled with a medallion with flowers on a cobalt blue ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The box is adorned with a geometrical motif on the sides.
