She grew up in the Bronx and Forest Hills, New York in the forties and fifties. She has been an artist for over fifty years, has owned schools and art galleries in the Hamptons, a gold coast area at the tip of Long Island; She has been president of the Southampton Artists Association, Vice President of the Jimmy Ernst Alliance before it became the Artists’ Alliance of East Hampton, was editor of both the SAA and AAEH newsletters.
