Lot 0167: WWII GERMAN WEYERSBERG AND CO. HUNTING KNIFE

A German hunting knife and scabbard dating from the early 20th century. The blade is etched with hunting scenes and trophies, and the etched inscription in German that reads: Weidmannsheil, translated as Have a good hunting. Features a stags horn handle, the crosspiece finished with brass hunting dogs heads and a central plaque decorated with an oak leaves wreath and a swastika. Marked on the ricasso: Weyersberg and Co.
