The lot includes 12 of the 156 weekly editions, numbers 9, 10, 19, 21, 31, 35, 48, 56, 102, 107, 130, 141 dedicated to the glorifying deeds of the German Kriegsmarine. They were published at weekly intervals from 1940 through December 1942 and commissioned by Reich Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach for the Hitler Youth.
