Utagawa Kunisada, Japanese, 1786 to 1865, a woodblock print depicting a geisha portrait. with the inscription upper right. Signed lower left. Circa the late 19th century. Matted and framed. Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan.
