An antique Japanese Meiji era enamel metal plate. The plate is enameled with polychrome medallions with floral and geometrical patterns, an image of a bird in clouds and rising Sun scenes, and a scene with a bird in the garden to the center made in the Cloisonne technique on a blue ground. The backside is adorned with a foliage motif made in the Cloisonne technique. Circa: early 20th century.
