Alexandre Jacovleff, Russian, 1887 to 1938, a watercolor on paper painting depicting Mongolian camels. Signed lower right and dated 1918. Matted and framed. Alexandre Yevgenievich Jacovleff was a neoclassicist painter, draftsman, designer and etcher. In the summer of 1917, Jacovleff received a scholarship to study in the Far East.
