Vincent Spagna is an American and Italian Modern painter, known for Expressive portrait, city scenes and figure in landscape painting. Noted New York and CT artist was in his prime in the mid 20th century and was friends with and exhibited with many of the now famous artists. He roomed for a time with Milton Avery, and Avery created a portrait of him in 1937. He is remembered for his portraits done in a modernist expressive style. He also painted city scenes and figural landscape pieces with a similar modern technique. One of a kind artwork.
