A pair of antique Japanese Meiji era covered enamel gilt metal ginger jars. The jars are enameled with a polychrome image of butterflies and blossoming flowers made in the Cloisonne technique. The ground is inlaid with a Gold stone. The neck is adorned with a traditional Greek motif made in the Cloisonne technique. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
