An antique French gilt bronze letter opener. The letter opener is topped with a sculptured profile portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte wearing his military uniform and hat. Circa: 1900s. Napoleon Bonaparte, 1769 to 1821, and later known by his regnal name Napoleon I, was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars.
