An antique Imperial Russian gilt silver egg desk clock with Verge Fusee movement, dated circa the 1880s. Modeled as an Easter egg with a hinged lid decorated with three relief double-headed eagles. The dial is covered with white and black enamel. The egg is mounted on a base modeled as three mythical sea monsters. The movement is marked: Denisart A Paris, No. 355.
