A vintage pot made by the Shona people in Southern Africa circa the 1930s. The pot is handcrafted from black clay and fired in a pit. The exterior of the pot is covered with black glaze and decorated with geometric patterns. The pots are typically used to carry beer during spiritual ceremonies.
