A pair of 1940s Nazi German wooden seals from occupied Poland. The first seal has a Magen David and inscription Der Aelteste der Juden in Litzmannstadt, The oldest of the Jews in Litzmannstadt. The second seal depicts an eagle with swastika and inscription Waffen SS, SS-Totenkompfstandarte Dachau. The Lodz Ghetto or Litzmannstadt Ghetto was the second-largest Nazi ghetto in Poland. Dachau was the first concentration camp built by Nazi Germany in Bavaria. opening on 22 March 1933.
