An antique Persian Seljuk Empire Era covered bronze box. The box is adorned with engraved detailed ornaments and a Calligraphy motif on the top of the lid. The lid is adorned with a top made in an openwork design. Circa: 12th century.The Great Seljuk Empire, or the Seljuk Empire was a high medieval, culturally Turko Persian, Sunni Muslim empire, founded and ruled by the Qiniq branch of Oghuz Turks.
