Oil on canvas painting. An antique 19th-century copy of a 1639 artwork titled The Infant Christ and St John the Baptist by Anthony Van Dyck, 1599 to 1641, a Flemish Baroque artist. It depicts the infant John the Baptist greeting his cousin Jesus upon his return from exile in Egypt. The original painting was executed for the British king Charles II and remains a part of the Royal Collection. Wooden frame with a title plaque on the bottom.
