Marianne Starck, German, 1931 to 2007 worked at Michael Andersen and Sons, Bornholm as the Artistic Director from 1955 to its closure in 1993. Michael Andersen and Sons was founded in the 1880s on the island of Bornholm, Denmark, one of the major centres of Danish pottery production during the 19th and 20th Centuries.
